Value Progression no matter how slow it is.

So when I fell ill, I was brought to the rehabilitation center and at the time friends flocked by to check on me and encourage me, Indeed as I have written before, Physiotherapy is the only way out of a stroke so indeed it began paying off

Then the falls happened which took us back to square negative 20 . Now in algebra speak we had to add the positive 21 to atleast square one. Now beginning from scratch ain’t easy, the pain was so much during the exercises that I almost gave up. Now the funny thing was how my screaming was loud yet I had speech impairment, the wail could be heard about 40 metres away. Actually the whole of 2018 to mid 2019 was a very bad time. They say that patience pains but pays, and it has paid off.

Now in life, we should value Progression no matter how slow it is. Most of us want the end product but are not ready to undertake the process. Now physiotherapy is the process and looking at pointers,we are almost there. One of the greatest lifelessons I have learned is that we have to start small and then we can build on that to achieve our ultimate goal. Now this is not easy, I felt like giving up,there was nothing literally to live for and I felt, why don’t I die since I am physically dead. But a strong support system helps us out and it has been family and friends who have stood with me. A friend once sent me a message, ‘ some situations may make you feel like you want to LEAVE the world but promise me that you will LIVE for the glory of the Lord. So when it comes to the Progression, the main goal is to walk and talk, and for the speech, only articulation is
lacking otherwise words can come out which is why I am doing my own speech therapy and since we are training the brain,I always try to talk whenever friends come for a visit. As for walking,we are in the struggle, Iam training with a walker and an auxiliary crutch to determine what works for me . So these are the progressions I celebrate but I am mindful that it is can be slow.
