So it’s December 2019 and we are hearing of an outbreak in Wuhan. We think it’s the usual bird flu and think things are going to be alright. January 2020, WHO declares SARS-COV as an epidemic, Naively,we say,’its an Asian thing,it can’t reach us’. Well this Kung Flu (emphasis mine) We keep following updates, it is reaching Europe,India closes the border not knowing the Kung Flu’s plans. We start saying that we have sunshine and the kung flu is hearing us and making plans. Misinformation starts trickling in that it has to do with 5g signals and folks in UK burn masts (Ignorance is bliss) . Some Pastors begin their usual uninformed theories on how it came about.
How we got here.
First of all I dare say that the kung flu was artificially manufactured,no evidence suggests that it developed naturally and the host bat hasn’t been found up with to now. Having read Robert Ludlum’s work, I said that this might have been a lab leak in Wuhan Institute of Virology lab and it got out of hand. China is culpable and right now, the Democrat led government in USA has doubts about the flu happening naturally. China jailed whistle blowers who came to talk about the Kung Flu. China could have controlled the Kungflu from just being a regional outbreak to a world pandemic it has become. China was not forthcoming with the truth and we are dealing with the consequences.
Way Forward
That said please mask on or Perish you see even the most advanced health care systems have been brought to their knees. The only cheap way to avoid the Kung Flu is simple and easy. Keep social distancing avoid crowds, wash your hands or use a sanitizer, keep your mask and wear it Well.We need you safe and alive, the Kungflu is here to stay and won’t go away and is still mutating, soon we may have the ( insert your country) variant if we remain complacent. Right now, you are breathing free air, please you don’t have to pay for it in ICU and pay for the oxygen, already our health care systems are crippled, Stay well and Stay safe

The fact that you normalize the word kung flu is disappointing. It might seem a fancy phrase to use but it’s seriously alienating and marginalizing other people, who don’t deserve that.

I know that COVID originated from China but still, it’s not right to call it Chinese flu or Kung flu. It endangers people and seriously isolates them. I think this is the fault of the government, negligence of the health care workers. But this is not the fault of the people in general. The people are not a virus. There’s no excuse for calling COVID19, kung flu.
