Yes certainly I have been favored by the most high.One aspect we ought to learn as believers is that life is not always to be paved with roses,there are trying times which will crush us but not destroy us,persecute us and not abandon us his word sayeth that he will give us the strength to overcome and to make it through

About last year my former lecturer and moot Coach sent me an email wondering if I could co-author with him on some writing for his PhD, now this doesn’t come often to a person who has stroke, it shows the confidence in the person’s abilities.

Now stroke is funny it affects the brain which is like a cpu of the body but doesn’t affect intelligence. In severe strokes, one suffers dementia which is total memory loss. So that is the Lord being with me even at my lowest .

This song was sent to me by Nantiana,a great friend and former workmate. Today as I was going for a review, the Uber driver played and I said to myself, wait I know that song so I believe it was a reminder that God is still God even in our circumstances however dire, you just need to read Job’s story and learn about looking on to God

Psalms 121 says , I look up to the mountains, where does my help come from my help comes from the Lord.

In the whole illness it is friends who have stood with me, been empathetic and prayed for me. Aunt Marie has also been a great person with inspiration and sharing with me the word of God.My greatest thanksgiving to the almighty God is that he has preserved me and kept me sane. Whereas I didn’t complete on the writing project due to body limitations ( left hand is paralyzed so I type with the right one) it made me feel special that even at my lowest someone can trust my brain, you see when life throws lemons at you, you don’t invite pity parties and cry, rather you make lemonade and change the plans so yes the Lord is God of hills and valleys and I am not alone.
